Tote Savvy Travel Organizer

So we all know packing for yourself can be a struggle, then add packing for your kiddos and that's a whole new layer of stress. I find myself asking a hundred times if we have enough underwear or did I get the exact right outfit for the dinner out on the third night. You know, mom things. Well, I have to introduce you to a new product that changed the packing game for us and allowed my daughter the freedom to help find her own outfits while on vacation and making packing up a breeze.

The organizer includes 6 mesh pockets, 2 clear zipper pockets, a large garment section on the reverse side, and a swivel hook to hang from a closet rod or door knob. ToteSavvy Travel folds in half and is secured with two Velcro tabs for compact storage. The garment section fits a child size hanger. Organizer sized for newborn - 5T clothing.

Here's the rundown of the product from their website: "The organizer includes 6 mesh pockets, 2 clear zipper pockets, a large garment section on the reverse side, and a swivel hook to hang from a closet rod or door knob. ToteSavvy Travel folds in half and is secured with two Velcro tabs for compact storage. The garment section fits a child size hanger. Organizer sized for newborn - 5T clothing."

Now we are definitely in 5T+ clothing, so you are going to see how you can pack for that older preschooler.

Next, onto how packed it for our beach vacation.

Here's my packing breakdown:

Mesh compartment 1-3 (top row): Alice and Ames Dress in each, size 5 and 6

Mesh compartment 4 (first on bottom row): Sweatshirt size 7/8

Mesh compartment 5 (middle on bottom row): 3 t-shirts and 1 pair of biker shorts

Mesh compartment 6 (last on bottom row): 2 pairs of bamboo pjs size 7

Clear Pockets: 2 swimsuits in one; 2 bows in the other

Back zipper pocket: Taylor Joelle Moana Dress size 7

In each compartment, I also include the corresponding amount of undergarments for that outfit.

Even loaded down with all this, I had no problem rolling it up and securely attaching the velcro strips. It fit with room to spare in our Walker Family Goods States Duffel. More than enough room to pack other toiletries, stuffies, and shoes!

When we arrived to our destination, unpacking this was a breeze! Simply unzipped the bag, unrolled and hung it up on the doorknob in her bedroom. It was easily accessible for her when she needed to find her pjs or pick her swimsuit for the day. Dirty clothes were loaded in the dirty clothes compartment of the states duffel as they were used. When we got ready to go home, I had no questions as to what was clean and what was dirty! I simply rolled up the Travel Organizer and put it back in the duffel. Dirty clothes were separate and I knew what laundry I didn't have to do when we got home! Not to mention, I simply hung up the Travel Organizer in my daughter's room when we got home and let her pick outfits from that for the next few days!

Moral of the story: the Travel Organizer will simplify packing for your destination and eliminate unnecessary laundry when coming home!

So now you may roll your eyes like, we only travel a few times a year at most. Why would I need to buy something like this for my kid? Well, my friend, let me tell you something! You can use this at home too! With there being 6 compartments, you can put outfits out for your entire school week and include the undergarments. A great way to encourage independence and confidence in your kiddo.

The Travel Organizer was a game changer for us on this trip and I really look forward to using it on future trips!
